Global Issues: Project Organizers for the Middle Years Programme will support the IB philosophy of: interdisciplinary learning, the use of a wide range of resources, international-mindedness the IB learner profile and the IB Middle Years Programme areas of interaction, including approaches to learning. These full color, write in Project Organizers will: provide a structure for students' interdisciplinary work, help you meet the recommendations of the IB MYP Principles into Practice document and form a record of the student's interdisciplinary work and achievement each year. Students will gradually populate and personalize their Project Organizer throughout the year, with the completed planner acting as a record of their interdisciplinary work. The author teams include experienced IB Middle Years Programme teachers to ensure that the content is relevant and pitched at the right level. Specialist consultants in interdisciplinary learning, language and international-mindedness will also be part of the team. Examples and case studies are drawn from the widest possible international base to ensure they are applicable to all regions.

Global Issues: Project Organizers have been uniquely developed in cooperation with the IB for the Middle Years Programme. They are a set of five, write-in organizers, one each for the five years of the MYP. Each Project Organizer contains six units based around a different theme, drawn from the UN Millennium Development Goals. The unit is structured around a unit question and provides information on subject interim objectives and the areas of interaction at the start. These Project Organizers will structure and facilitate interdisciplinary study, bringing together two to three different subjects in each unit. Once completed, they also form a valuable record of achievement for the student.
